Why eat insects ?
2.5 billion human beings already eat them, it's natural, it's healthy and above all... It's GOOD! So why deprive ourselves? According to the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations), a third of humanity already consumes insects, for their nutritional and gustatory qualities. For a few years now, we have been talking about insects as being one of the foods of the future. What about the nutritional benefits?
Insects are a healthy and nourishing food resource, with important contributions in proteins and vitamins, omega 3 and 6, but also minerals. In addition, they naturally contain little fat. For those in the know, insects also contain all the essential amino acids, as well as vitamin B12, which makes them a particularly useful ingredient for muscle preparation and recovery.
