EDUCATING AND CONVINCING STARTS WITH THE LITTLE ONES

Our mission is ambitious: to gradually introduce insects into our daily Western diet. Why gradually? Because it will not be enough to press a magic button and we will all accept to eat insects overnight. Insects should not be “the food of the future”, they should be the Friday night snack, the 5pm protein bar, or an ingredient in my next family dinner! At JIMINI’S, we manufacture and market insect-based food products!

We have several types of products: savoury or sweet seasoned whole insects and sweet (granola, protein bars) and savoury (pasta) delicatessen products!

There is something for all tastes and all ages with the aim of gradually changing mentalities and preconceptions about insect consumption!

EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF INSECTS AND THE ISSUES RELATED TO OUR FOOD

We have become aware of the impact of our food on the planet, and we are looking for concrete alternative solutions. Edible insects are not the magic solution to all future food and ecological issues, but they will have their role to play, which is why the “ants” of JIMINI’S regularly take part in educational activities with different audiences at trade fairs, school events, conferences, etc.

We believe that tastes can be educated and that preconceived ideas can be dismantled from a very young age! This is why we are very interested in the younger generation and we regularly go into classrooms to meet teachers and students. We are also present in certain school textbooks!
