Our energy bars contain 40% of carbs and 14% of proteins.

When we produce a long effort such as running, cycling or tennis; we can deplete our glycogen storage. Glycogen is a large chain of carbohydrates that serve as energy storage.

After one hour and a half of effort, our glycogen levels are low and it reduces our capacity to produce strenuous efforts.
